Our team recently completed this garage door transformation for a customer in Daventry, replacing a set of very old and poorly fitted timber side-hinged doors.
The Project
The existing set-up also included a welder’s curtain and was in need of a complete update. The customer wanted to make the garage easier for his wife to use, so we replaced the old doors with a modern, motor-operated sectional garage door.
Preparing the Garage
After removing the existing timber doors and welder’s curtain, we replaced some of the timber work and timber legs before finishing the surrounding area with Anthracite Grey PVC cladding.
This gave us a smart, clean finish around the opening ready for the new garage door to be installed.
The New Sectional Garage Door
We installed a Fir Green sectional garage door with 42mm insulation, complete with a motor for easier operation.
The Fir Green door works really well alongside the contrasting Anthracite Grey cladding, completely transforming the appearance of the garage compared with the original timber doors.
The customers were over the moon with the finished result, and the new motor-operated door has provided the easier-to-use solution they were looking for.
